Poor communication

My prescriptions are sent electronically and the doctor tells you to wait 24 hours before going to collect your medication. I left it 72 hours last time, and when I went there they told me they did not have the medication in stock and would have to order it in. If they looked at the prescriptions when they are sent over they could improve their service. My medication could have been ordered and delivered to them by the time I went to collect it. They never seem to have prescriptions ready but wait until you attend the pharmacy before they even look at it. The electronic system has not improved the service at all. It is always really busy in there and there is always a big queue. They need to do better.

An awful service

The service at this pharmacy is absolutely awful. The last time I used them I waited an hour and a half for them to get my medication ready. That was after waiting two days from the date the prescription was sent digitally by my surgery. I now try and avoid this pharmacy.

Medication never ready & long waiting times

The service is awful. I have put prescriptions in two weeks in advance and the medication is still not ready. When you attend the pharmacy you wait for such a long time. I have been waiting for so long in the past that I have had to leave before they were ready because it had started to get dark, and I was scared to walk home alone in the dark. I am in my 80s, have severe anxiety and I am unsteady on my feet. They do not seem to care though.

Dispensed incorrect medication

I was dispensed the incorrect medication which made me very ill. I took the medication for 8 days before realising myself and dread to imagine what would have happened to me if I had not. I feel that this is unacceptable for medical professionals to make such errors.

Excellent Customer Service

I have been using this pharmacy and have always found them very good. Recently there has been a change in management but this has not impacted the good service I receive. It is clear that they are over stretched and very busy, but I have not found this a problem. The staff are friendly and helpful, and I have always found the staff and pharmacist very supportive when I need assistance with medication.

Poor service and lack of stock

The service here is awful. They have made numerous errors with prescriptions and quite often they have had to order things in and made errors resulting in a long wait for what I needed.

Awful service, never had medication in stock

This pharmacy is an absolute nightmare. When prescriptions are sent through digitally they don't get medications ready. They wait for you to go in for them. The queues are always a nightmare and you end up waiting for ages. I thought the whole point of electronically sent prescriptions was so that they were ready for you to collect. Half the time they never have the right medication in and you then have to go back to your GP for a written prescription for you to take else where.

Prescriptions are never ready with long waits

Prescriptions are never ready, there are long queues, the pharmacy is really busy. This is difficult for me as I am autistic and have social anxiety that makes it hard for me some days to even leave the house. Standing around waiting for medication for up to an hour is not helpful at all. I have gone away and returned before and its still not been ready for me.

Since recent changes to staff I've experienced the worst service. Prescriptions are never ready even when you phone to check up on progress when you arrive they have not been done. The queues are massive and the waiting times are ridiculous. They have recently stopped giving out peptac as prescribed. Been told to tell my GP to prescribe something else or get a paper prescription for that to go somewhere else. I'm considering going somewhere else for all of it they service is that bad. Its a shame because being so close to the doctors surgery is convenient.
