Bone Density Scan

Very good service, nice clean and bright hospital setting with good clean facilities. Parking is a bit tricky but to be expected at a busy hospital.

Well organised with good facilities

Attending as an outpatient for appointments I have found that services are well organised and run smoothly when compared to appointments I have attended at UHB Heartlands. The facilities are much nicer and the hospital has good levels of cleanliness and hygiene.

Excellent Prostate Cancer Treatment & Care

The service and my experience as a patient at this hospital has been outstanding. Through diagnosis and treatment I have been fully informed and supported. I have received excellent care and support from great staff at all levels.

Bright, clean and nice environment

Visiting the gynaecology department at Good Hope hospital was a much more pleasant experience than that at Heartlands hospital. The building is clean, bright and easy to find. The staff were very friendly and helpful and I was happy with the service and care I received during my appointment.

Staff could have been kinder

I was rushed in as an emergency after falling unwell following a colonoscopy at another hospital that lacked and emergency department. I was looked after but I do not think that the staff were as kind as they could have been in how they cared for me.

Excellent experience in maternity unit

As a first time mom not quite knowing what to expect my overall experience was very good. My labor and delivery went well and I felt well looked after and reassured throughout. The midwives were great.

Poor A&E experience

Was brought in by ambulance but there seemed to be no handover in care. Instead of looking over notes from the paramedics I had to start all over again explaining what had happened. This seemed to waste time and was frustrating for me having to recount all the details again when I was feeling so unwell.

Excellent care from Fracture Clinic

My grandchild was rushed in with a bad break. The staff were lovely and took great care of him. The break was severe and we were transferred to another hospital but our experience here was outstanding and we could not fault a thing.

Long waiting time for treatment

I went there for my kidney stone problem. I waited for hours in pain. I was even asked to go home because there was no doctors available to look after me. I was told that there was no staff available.

Lack of communication with patients or continuity of care

I lost contact with my initial consultant, and every time I go there I see a new consultant. I am not happy about it.
