UHB Solihull Hospital

I recently visited this hospital for an MRI on my knee. My appointment was at the weekend but it was very quiet and I was seen quickly. The staff were all good.

The staff were very welcoming during my urology appointment. The receptionists and all other staff provide a good service.

The care I received during my dermatology appointment was very good. I was seen very quickly and the staff were lovely. They were very reassuring and put me at ease throughout my visit.

I was seen within 2 weeks from referral, the care was brilliant and I was not waiting long to be seen. I had a second appointment not long after for a biopsy. I was given a coffee and made to feel at ease and while the hospital was busy it wasn't noticeable. The communication I received throughout the visit was good.

I was told that there was a 4-6 month wait for an appointment at the low vision clinic when I was referred due to macular disease.

I was referred here for an appointment with a consultant which came through within a week. During this appointment I was told that I needed an MRI which was booked in for a week later. I received the results and a follow up appointment the following week which was excellent. I am very happy with the continuity of care with everything being sorted within 3 weeks. The osteoporosis care here is excellent.

Waiting 7 months for an appointment with a cardiologist still no appointments date

I visited this hospital for an MRI. I was seen quickly and received very good care.

I attended recently an appointment for a chest X-ray. The appointment went well and I was seen quickly. All of the staff were also very nice throughout.

The community of Solihull need Solihull Hospital to open an Accident and Emergency Department. Travelling to Heartlands Hospital, The Queen Elizabeth Hospital and/or Good Hope Hospital is not providing the best service for the residents of Solihull, and is putting people in our community at risk!
